We have a couple of new crochet pattern books at the library.
If you love ripples, we have 50 Ripple Stitches by Darla Sims. It's an Annie's Attic book. There are granny ripples, cluster ripple, V-stitch ripple, double crochet ripples, and straight row patterns that have a ripple effect.
We also recently got Simply Crochet: 22 Stylish Designs for Every Day by Robyn Chachula. This book has only one blanket. The rest of the patterns are purses, shawls and shrugs, scarves, hats, and other wearables.
Come and pick them up to check out the newest patterns.

Knitting Projects in March
I remembered to bring my camera to the March 22nd Knit Night and here are the results. Some of the ladies only had a few rows on their needles. I didn't take pictures of those. These are the projects big enough to see the patterns.

Irish Crochet
Just in time for St. Patrick's Day, I found this beautiful shawl called Irish Crochet Shawl in the Lion Brand Yarn website.
In case you like the look of this (or think that it might do on a warm evening - in March!) here is the link to the free pattern:
