Huggable Crochet: Cute and Cuddly Animals from Around the World by Christine Lucas has 24 patterns for crocheted animals. The animals are all of a good size, excellent for dragging around and hugging to sleep. You'll find land and sea creatures. I like several of them, but the Hippopotamus is my favorite. I think the face is very interesting.

Jackson County Public Library (Indiana) Knit and Crochet Groups!

Knit and Crochet Night group meets on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month at 6:30-8 pm in the Seymour Library Meeting Room.

Knitting beginners, bring size 7 or 8 needles and worsted weight yarn. Crochet beginners, bring size a J or K crochet hook and worsted weight yarn. More advanced knitters and crocheters, bring your current project. This is a very relaxed group.

Volunteers lead and teach--Georgiann Coons for both knitting and crocheting with many able assistants in the group. Thank you!
