Cozy Throw
http://www.lionbrand.com/patterns/L20072C.html?noImages=
This last stretch of cold air this winter makes this throw look pretty toasty. It's made in five strips so there is a minimum of sewing at the end.
The pattern calls for crocheting in half doubles with a P hook. I can see using the same idea in knit or single crochet or double crochet. The trick is to count the rows accurately so the blocks come out the same.
The size of the yarn and hook can be adjusted for whatever you wish to use, as can the size of the blocks or the number of blocks and strips. Be your own designer.
Happy crafting,
Kathi Linz
